Exciting opportunity in our Finance Department in Haugesund. 

We are looking for a candidate with great analytical skills for an exciting and challenging position!

Duties and responsibilities

• Contribute to the fulfillment of the financial reporting according to US GAAP Standards, IFRS standards and NGAAP standards
• Manage the quarter and year-end audit work papers and Interfaces with external auditors as required
• Support the preparation to the Group consolidated accounts including variance analysis, monthly account reconciliations and ad-hoc financial reporting
• Ensure that all established internal controls are being followed, which are deemed necessary to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of reporting
• Support SEC and US GAAP/Group Accounting on ad-hoc basis                       

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting and/or Auditing as a minimum
• IFRS and/or US GAAP knowledge, but not required
• 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered
• Solid IT skills and interest in becoming superuser for reporting tools 
• Experience in development and/or testing of internal control for Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) is beneficial, but not required
• Proficiency in English
